First Aid at Work Requalifcation (RQF)

Who the course is for…

Those who currently hold a First Aid at Work qualification that is about to expire or which will have expired within a month of the start of the course.

What you will learn…

• Legalities, responsibilities and reporting

• Assessment of the situation

• Dealing with an unresponsive casualty

• Resuscitation and AED awareness

• Choking

• Shock (including anaphylaxis)

• Stroke

• Heart attacks

• Fractures and spinal injuries

• Sprains and strains

• Chest injuries

• Control of bleeding

• Bandaging

• Headaches

• Eye injuries

• Poisoning

• Burns

• Epilepsy

• Asthma

• Diabetes

To do this course you will need…

Physical ability to perform practical first aid activities, including CPR (please contact us if you wish to discuss this).

A current First Aid at Work certificate. This can be up to a month out of date. If your certificate expired between 1 and 3 months ago, it may still be possible to do the 2 day requalification – please contact us for more information. If over 3 months out of date, a full 3-day First Aid at Work is required.
