Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF)
Who the course is for…
People who have responsibility for the care of children and babies, either in work, voluntarily or at home. Either for first time first aiders, or people renewing their emergency paediatric first aid.
Skills you will take away…
Knowledge and practical skills to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations and conditions.
What you will learn…
A wide range of subjects will be covered, including:
• Role of the Paediatric First Aider
• Primary survey
• Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED)
• Wounds, bleeding and shock
• Seizures
• Choking
• Minor injuries
• Recovery position
To do this course you will need…
Physical ability to perform practical first aid activities, including CPR (please contact us if you wish to discuss this).
No prior experience of first aid needed.
Learners must be a minimum of 14 years of age

A practical and informative course, giving you the skills to cope with most aspects of first aid in the workplace, home or community.
Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes.
