Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)

Who the course is for…

People renewing their first aid skills or people becoming emergency first aiders for the first time.

Skills you will take away…

Assess an emergency situation

Conduct a primary survey

Do CPR and use an AED safely

Deal with a choking casualty

Manage major bleeding and shock

To do this course you will need…

Physical ability to perform practical first aid activities, including CPR (please contact us if you wish to discuss this).

No prior experience of first aid

Learners must be a minimum of 14 years of age but cannot assume a responsibility in the workplace until they reach the age of 16, and then it is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that the student is suitable for that role.

This is an Ofqual regulated qualification and is a level 3 award on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). A practical and informative course, giving you the skills to cope with the emergency aspects of first aid in the workplace, home or community.

Large aspects of the course are practical. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes.
